Google Green Team - Introduction and Terms of User

In February, 2014, I was trying to set up an appointment for a patent holder coming to the U.S. with several forms of green technology. They already had revenue and a growing list of contracts with Sovereigns, Munis and agencies, such as NREL. They knew their game and I had hoped to introduce them to smart Silicon Valley Execs with vision, an ability to review their awards, patents and contracts and help them accelerate their global expansion.

I turned to the Executive Team at Google first; they're barely 10 miles away from me as the crow flies. I was unable to find any link - zero - that said "SUBMIT A GREEN IDEA TO GOOGLE" and was unable to get help through Google's switchboard. With time running out I poked around a bit and found Larry and Eric on the Google+ pages and left a few messages there...a bit out of context for the posts - but the message was clear enough.

"I need to schedule an appointment for someone who has patents, revenue, contracts and answers to global issues relating to energy. Please email me asap."

Checking my inbox later : nothing, nada, zero, save a bunch of chatter surrounding one of Eric's posts about DAVOS.

So I went ahead and asked that group to see if I was just blind: CAN ANYONE find an easy form or mechanism within any reasonable period of time to get to the Green Team at Google?

We shall see how that quest turns out.

Meanwhile, I had an idea...a place Google Users and folks who have green technology, patents, revenue and contracts etc., could post their ideas.

I tried registering googlegreenteams.com and it worked.

You can now visit that site...as can the folks from Google's Executive Team if they so choose. No doubt their attorney will be writing soon enough: Being an old law clerk, we'll deal with that event far more gracefully than my quest to find the button.

In the meantime, you can visit the site and post your ideas.

A few basic Terms of Use: more at the site http://googlegreenteam.com

1. No flaming. No profanity. Nothing that would offend a sensible kid or parent. I teach and take issue with folks who put kids, parents or me at risk.

2.  No long chit-chats in the forums/posts/link areas. If you have an actual PRODUCT, post a link to a white paper PDF. If you have an actual GREEN CONCEPT, post a link to your own BLOG or web site. If you have a fully developed CORP, post that link.

There is a section - Lounge - for brainstorming and anything reasonable goes there.

3. There are other terms at the site. Please read them.

You'll need an access code. Try windgenzen (as in the name of the site http://windgenzen.com where I entered the green industry - you can too).

That ought to get you started and means you have read these instructions.

Thank you.
